JPG files are a common choice for use on the internet, because JPG files however are a lossless compression file format. Which is a class of data compression algorithms, this allows the original data to be reconstructed from the compressed data and lossless data compression is used in many applications. PNG files are a good choice for storing line drawings, text as well as iconic graphics at a small file size. JPG files are a lossy compression permanently remove’s data. JPG files are very useful for storing photographs at a smaller size than BMP. JPG is a very popular choice for usage on the internet, because it is compressed. In-conclusion JPG’S are better for photograph’s and realistic images., and it depends what type of work you are saving to determine which file type to use. Because PNG and JPG file types are both important file type’s depending on the use of them.
